:: hello? ::

I finished reading pages 129-179 this evening, but I don't want to move forward quite yet. I only heard from Megan regarding pages 70-128. Does anyone else plan to share their thoughts this week? Or contribute their suggestions for this blog, along with Megan (see the comments here)?

I'll wait to write another post until I hear back from y'all. I hope everyone is just busy reading!

Hi, stomach flu here and trying to get ready for a booth a friend and i are doing at the women's Spring Fair at our Church this Sat!
I am wondering if there is a way that posts and comments could be sent to everyone when they are posted? I know we could do a yahoo or google group and then Jenni you could put that address in for posts to be sent to the rest of us,but don't know if that sends the comments too,I think it does.
Also Maybe you could ask one or two questions per posts but write more posts for the week?To make the questions easier to remember to answer. Just some thoughts. You are doing a great job but since you asked I thought something like this might make it easier.

I think that is what I was getting at too - post fewer thoughts and more often and we can respond to specific posts where the majority of the "conversation" is specific to that thread.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for your ideas, Libby. Honestly, I don't feel like running a Yahoo/Google group, but I have some good solutions for you. If you scroll down to the bottom of this blog, you can subscribe to books for calvin's feed. It says "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)."

Or, some of my dreams for genevieve (my other blog) readers use Bloglines:

http://www.bloglines.com

As for the comments, click on the time of any blog post and you can subscribe to the comment feed - if you are signed in to Blogger. It will say "Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom)."

And, if you leave a comment, you can click a little box below that says "Email follow-up comments to [your email address]."

Does that help? Let me know if you have any questions.

So far, Megan, Kate, and Libby are thinking alike regarding "fewer thoughts and more often", and I think that's a great idea. I will start doing so for pages 129-179 either this weekend or Monday (no later than Mon.). I don't have the energy to change my long post for pages 70-128, though, so hopefully y'all can find some time to sit down, read it all, and comment.
:)

I agree, shorter chapter selections with comments more frequently. We've just been busy here this week, so I haven't had a chance to post on the previous chapters, but hopefully tonight.

Would 3 chapters at a time be OK with (most) everyone? With my shorter posts from those chapters?

yes, with the great questions you ask being broke into different posts. I was wondering what happens when you click on the subscribe to Atom does it email them to you??

Sorry, I totally forgot to post on the last group of pages. I finished the book and had to get it back to the library last week. I will try to post soon. Go ahead and post whenever you like as far as I am concerned. Like I said I've already finished the book. Super excited about the new one.

Thanks for all of the input! I decided to read 3 chapters at a time, and break it down into shorter posts during the week. I hope this will be helpful.
