I love all kinds of novels, and an author I do enjoy is Jan Karon. She writes the most charming, lovely, comforting stories. I read the entire Mitford series, and when it ended, I was bummed. So, I was thrilled to hear about the Father Tim novels. I read Home to Holly Springs and I believe it is one of Karon's best books; maybe the best she's ever written.
It's a long story, but I have an extra hardback copy of Home to Holly Springs. Basically, instead of returning it to Amazon, I let it sit in our front hall closet since Christmas. I thought one of you might love to read this book.

Count me in. I have read it but would love to own it to read again and again. Jan Karon is one of my favorite authors! I have read her books over and over. I love Father Tim and "Miss Cynthia". My family is from North Carolina so it reminds me of my visits there too and the humor-delightful!

Thanks Jenni, sounds great. I'm glad you are feeling better. I keep hearing wonderful things about the Mitford series but I've never read them. Maybe this will give me a good introduction to Karon. And I love tea...and movies!!!
